The SGI Coral Index aims to generate stable returns from investments in the largest European single stocks under various equity market conditions, with a significantly lower volatility vs. traditional equity investments.
The SGI Coral is the equally-weighted basket of three complementary systematic strategies: momentum, contrarian and mean reversion.


The SGI Coral Index is the equally weighted basket of three strategies investing daily in each of the 50 largest European stocks:

  • A core strategy: the SGI Strategic Long Index (Momentum) which is designed to benefit from upward trends while mitigating the impact of a bear market.
  • Two overlay strategies: the SGI Tactical Short Index (Contrarian) which is a short strategy designed to perform as an efficient overlay in volatile bear markets and the SGI Tactical Neutral Index (Mean Reversion) which is a market neutral strategy designed to benefit opportunisticly from temporary dislocations, whatever the market trend.
