ERIX tracks the performance of European renewable energy companies that are active in either or several of the following six investment clusters: biofuels, geothermal, marine, solar, water, and wind.
The ERIX index selects the largest companies in the areas of renewable energy such as wind, solar, biomass and water energy. Each component has a minimum weight of 5%. The remaining weight is allocated according to market capitalization.
Companies which have the biggest share of revenues in either or several of these areas are eligible for inclusion in the index. The index members are the 10 largest and most liquid stocks from the list of eligible companies. ERIX is rebalanced every quarter and an index review takes place every six months.
